American visitor allegedly drowns off Castaway Cay, Bahamas

Police in Abaco are investigating an alleged drowning that occurred on CastawayCay in the Abaco’s on Thursday 26th February 2015.

Reports are that officers of the Sandy Point Police Station, Abaco, were notified about the incident shortly after 4:00pm. The decease is a 38 year old American male visitor who was a passenger on board a cruise ship was alleged to have drown while swimming in waters on Castaway Cay.

Police are investigating this matter.
