Andros stabbing death suspect in custody - Traffic fatality in Eleuthera

TRAFFIC FATALITY IN ELEUTHERA

Police in Eleuthera, Bahamas are investigating a traffic accident that has left a man dead on Sunday 24th April 2016.   Reports are that shortly after 12:00am, a man was driving a white Honda Accord vehicle on Queens Highway, Tarpum Bay, when he crashed into the rear of a parked truck. The victim was rushed to the Rock Sound Clinic where he later succumbed to his injuries.

A team of officers from the Police Traffic Department will travel to Eleuthera later today to assist in the investigations.

ANDROS STABBING DEATH SUSPECT IN CUSTODY

An adult male is in custody in connection with a stabbing incident that has left a man dead in North Andros on Sunday 24th April 2016.

Reports are that shortly after 2:00am, a man was involved in an altercation with another man in Morgan’s Bluff that led to him being stabbed with a knife. The victim was rushed to the local clinic where he later succumbed. The suspect was arrested by Police moments after the incident.

A team of Homicide Detectives from the Central Detective Unit will travel to Andros later today to assist in the investigations.
