Bimini industrial accident, man airlifted to New Providence

BIMINI, Bahamas - Police in Bimini are investigating an Industrial Accident that has left a male injured.  Reports are that on Saturday 8th February 2014 at 3:30pm, police received information that an accident had occurred at a Resort in Bimini. A 27 year old male who is employed at the Resort was reportedly standing on a tractor head when the flat bed flat trap that was loaded with steel became disengaged and collided with his right leg causing serious injuries.

The male was rushed to the Bimini Clinic and was later airlifted to New Providence for further medical attention.
