ELEUTHERA, Bahamas - Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Plan for 2016, excellent “text book’ police work by officers
in Eleuthera has led to the arrest of an adult male and the seizure of a quantity of drugs and cash on
Saturday 5th November 2016.
Reports are that around 2:30pm, Police in Harbour Island while conducting an operation on Colebrooke
Street arrested an adult male after they found seven (7) pounds of marijuana and a quantity of cocaine
in his possession. Officers also seized just over eleven (11) thousand dollars in cash from the male,
suspected to be the proceeds of crime. The male is expected to appear in court in New Providence early
this week to be formally charged.
