Cat Island Man Arrested for Cocaine and Marijuana Possession

Cat Island, Bahamas - Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Plan for 2017, police in Cat Island took a man into after they found him in possession of a quantity of dangerous drugs on Tuesday 28th March 2017.

According to reports, shortly before 7:00pm, officers in Cat Island were on mobile patrol in McQueens, when a Ford truck with one man aboard was intercepted.

The vehicle was searched and a quantity of cocaine and marijuana was found. The man was subsequently arrested and taken into custody.
