Cultivation of Marijuana Plants Discovered in Abaco

Abaco, Bahamas - Police in Abaco discovered a marijuana field in Crossing Rock, Abaco.

Reports are that on Tuesday 13th May 2014 around 9:30am, officers of the Marsh Harbour, Abaco District acting on information went to an area in Crossing Rock, South Abaco and discovered 2,500 marijuana plants ranging from one inch to six feet in height.

A 71 year old male of Crossing Rock, Abaco was arrested in connection with this matter.
The marijuana is estimated at $250,000.00

Police are actively investigating this matter.
