From:TheBahamasWeekly.com Family Islands According to reports, around 5:15am, DEU officers in collaboration with Police Marine Support Services and OPBAT (DEA Team) intercepted a 30 foot Midnight Express go-fast vessel in the area of Cargill Creek, Andros occupied by three men. A search was conducted of the vessel and approximately 1,200 pounds of marijuana was seized with a street value of 1.2 million dollars. The men were arrested and brought to the capital along with the drugs. Investigations are ongoing.

Three (3) Bahamian men ages 45, 40 and 34 are in custody following a major drug bust by police on Wednesday 2nd April 2014.
