Dangerous drugs arrest in Bimini

Bimini, Bahamas - Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Priorities for 2016, Police in Bimini conducted an operation on Tuesday 8th November 2016, where (7) persons were arrested for Dangerous Drugs on three separate incidents.  
 
The first incident occurred shortly after 5:00pm, police in Bimini arrested an American male after he was found with a quantity of suspected marijuana on South Bimini.  
 
The second incident occurred shortly before 9:00pm, police armed with a search warrant proceeded to a resident in the Porgy Bay area where officers discovered a quantity of suspected marijuana. A male was arrested for this matter.
 
The third incident occurred shortly before 11:00pm, officers armed with a search warrant went to a resident on Queens Highway, Bailey Town, where (5) males all residence of Bimini  were arrested for possession of a quantity of suspected marijuana.
 
They are all expected to be arraigned before the Magistrate Court this week.
