Eleuthera police launch manhunt for shooting suspect

Eleuthera, The Bahamas - Police in Eleuthera are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a shooting incident that has left a man detained in hospital on Tuesday 30th December 2014.

According to reports, around 3:00pm, a man was at his home located at Current Island, when an American man known to him armed with a handgun shot him several times in his back before fleeing on foot. The victim was taken to the local clinic and later airlifted to hospital in New Providence, where he remains in serious condition.

Police have launched an island-wide manhunt for the suspect and are appealing to members of the public to come forward with any information they may have regarding this incident.
