Grand Bahama homicide victim identified
- Police in Grand Bahama have identified the male victim who was found dead on Fortune Bay Drive as 47 year old Sedrick Hepburn of Lincoln Green, Grand Bahama. Police are actively investigating this matter and are appealing to the general public for anyone with information that can assist with this investigation to contact them at telephone numbers 350-3107/8, 911/919 or call your nearest police station.


Attempted armed robbery suspect arrested at Guana Cay Abaco - The incident reportedly occurred around 11:00am on Thursday 15th May 2014. Reports are that a lone gunman entered a store on Guana Cay, Abaco, wearing a cloth tied around his face and armed with a handgun. An employee of the store recognized the gunman and a struggle ensued which resulted in the employee being struck to the head and the firearm discharging. The suspect fled the store empty handed, however he was arrested a short time by police in Guana Cay. This matter is under active police investigation.
