18 Illegal Immigrants discovered in Bimini

Bimini, Bahamas - (15) Illegal Immigrants and (3) Bahamians are in police custody after they were discovered on South Bimini.

Reports are that on Wednesday 9th December 2015, Police and Immigration Officials acting on information, while on Port Royal in South Bimini, took into custody (15) Chinese Nationals, (8) females and (7) males. They also arrested (3) Bahamians, two are resident of South Bimini and the other from Abaco. The illegal immigrants were later transported to New Providence.

Investigations are continuing.

  • Lock all doors and windows
  • Remove all valuables
  • Park in well-lit locations and avoid isolated areas
