Inagua drug bust, 5 males from Haiti in custody

Inagua, Bahamas - Police took five adult males from Haiti into custody following a major drug bust in Inagua on Saturday 9th  April 2016.

Reports are that shortly after 7:00pm, officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit assisted by their International Counterparts from the US Coastguard and Drug Enforcement Administration, acting on intelligence conducted a search of a Haitian freighter in Inagua, where they uncovered over 100 kilos of cocaine.

The five males who were the crew of the vessel were taken into custody for questioning.
