Abaco, Bahamas - In keeping with the Commissioners Policing Priority for 2014, Officers of the Abaco Division inclusive of Treasure Cay, Coopers Town and Fox Town Police Station on Friday 31st January 2014, between the hours of 4:00pm- 8:00pm conducted operation “North Clean Sweep” at the junction of S.C Bootle Highway and Treasure Cay Drive.
A total of eight persons were cited for various road traffic offences and drivers along with vehicles checked for dangerous drugs.
Police would like to send a strong warning to those drivers who repeatedly violate the rules that govern our streets, that they will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
