Police discover marijuana fields in Long Island

Long Island, Bahamas - According to police reports, around 10:00am on Tuesday 22nd September 2015, police in Long Island along with officers from Operation OPBAT were on routine patrol, when they discovered three marijuana fields with just over 1000 plants in bushes situated in the northern end of Long Island.

The marijuana plants were all uprooted. No arrest was made in this incident, but officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit are continuing their investigations.
