Police in Abaco investigate traffic Fatality

Abaco, Bahamas - Police in Abaco are investigating a traffic fatality that has left a 21 year old male of that community dead.

Reports are that on Saturday 23rd August 2014, shortly before 5:00pm, police received information that there was a traffic accident on Ernest Dean Highway, Abaco. A blue 2008 Grand Suzuki Vitara was reportedly travelling south on Ernest Dean Highway when the driver reportedly lost control and ran off the road. The vehicle was extensively damaged and its four occupants all had injuries about the body. EMS personnel’s were called to the scene and transported the occupants of the vehicle to the Marsh Harbour Government Clinic where they were seen by doctor. One of the occupants of the vehicle a 21 year old male of Murphy Town, Abaco was later pronounced dead.

Police are investigating this matter.
