Police make large drug seizure in Exuma, Bahamas

EXUMA - On the heels of a 2 million dollar drug bust in New Providence, Police has dealt another major blow to the drug traffickers in the Bahamas, after they seized a large quantity of marijuana off Exuma on Thursday 31st July 2014.

According to reports, around 3:00pm, Drug Enforcement Unit officers along with police in Exuma, assisted by U.S Drug Enforcement Administration officers, acting on intelligence, went to Williams Caylocated some five miles off Barrateree, Exuma, where they uncovered over 763 pounds of marijuana. No one was arrested for this seizure. Investigation continues.
