Police probe alleged drowning of Canadian visitor to Exuma

EXUMA, Bahamas - According to reports, around 3:00pm on Monday 22nd February 2016, a Canadian man and his wife were snorkeling in waters off Steventon, Exuma, when the woman became unconscious. Despite extensive CPR efforts the woman was declared deceased by the island’s local doctor. An autopsy will be preformed to determine the exact cause of death.

The woman has been identified as 64 year old Beverly Voice of Nanoose Bay, Vancouver, British Colombia, Canada.

Investigations are ongoing.
