RBPF: 2 arrested and 57 drivers cited during island-wide operation in Eleuthera

Eleuthera, Bahamas - Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Priorities for 2016, Police in Eleuthera conducted an island-wide anti-crime operation that targeted, Persons involved in criminal activities, persons wanted for Outstanding Court Warrants and Drivers operating in Breach of the Road Traffic Laws on Thursday 1st September 2016.

During the operation a male in Tarpum Bay and another male in Rock Sound, were arrested for possession of dangerous drugs.

Additionally, 57 drivers were cited for various traffic violations.
