Abaco house fire leaves 86-yr-old in serious condition - Armed robbery in Abaco

ARMED ROBBERY - ABACO

Abaco, Bahamas - Police in Abaco need your assistance in solving an armed robbery that occurred on Thursday 18th February 2016.

Reports are that shortly after 10:00pm, four males while in the area of a resort in Marsh Harbour, were held up by gunpoint and robbed of a personnel item by three mask males who were armed with handguns. The culprits then fled the area on foot.

STRUCTURE FIRE- ABACO

Police in Abaco are also investigating a house fire that has left an 86 year old female with serious injuries.

Reports are that on Thursday 18th February 2016, shortly after 10:00pm, police in Crown Haven were alerted to a house fire of a single wooden structure. Officers along with other residents assisted the elderly female who reside at that residence and also with extinguishing the fire that completely destroyed the wooden structure. The elderly female was taken to the Cooper’s Town Government Clinic for medical attention and is said to be listed in serious condition. She was later airlifted to New Providence for further medical attention.
