30 Illegal Migrants Apprehended in Abaco – Drug Possession Arrest

Police and Immigration Officers in Abaco took into custody
(30) illegal Migrants on Thursday 3rd January 2019.

Abaco, Bahamas -- Reports are that shortly before 5:00pm on Thursday 3rd January 2019, officers while in the area of Man O-War Cay and Scotland Cay, observed a 33 ft. Haitian sloop. They were later joined by officers of the Immigration Dept. and took into custody (30) Haitian Nationals, (19) males and (11) females. The vessel was towed to the Marsh Harbor Government Dock.

ABACO ARRESTS

Police in Abaco on Thursday 3rd January 2019, also arrested a 36 year old male of Treasure Cay for Possession of Dangerous Drugs, a 21 year old male of Treasure Cay for Grievous Harm and a 39 year old male of Central Pines for Burglary.
