RBPF Abaco: Shooting incident suspects arraigned and firearm recovered

Abaco, Bahamas - Police in Abaco hauled two male suspects before the Magistrate Court for the shooting incident that occurred on Monday 18th December 2017.

The first suspect is Maxwell Robinson age 18 years of Dundas Town, Abaco. He was arraigned before the Magistrate Court in Abaco on Possession of a Firearm and Causing Harm charges. He pleaded guilty to Possession of a Firearm and not guilty to the Causing Harm charge. He was sentenced to three years at the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services.

The second suspect is a 17 year old juvenile of Dundas Town, Abaco. He was also arraigned before the Magistrate Court on Possession of a Firearm and Causing Harm charges and pleaded not guilty. He was remanded to the Simpson Penn School for boys until trial on February 19th 2018.

A black .40 pistol was also recovered in connection with this matter.
