RBPF: Armed Robbers captured in Abaco

Excellent police work by officers of the Abaco District, resulted in the capture of three suspects, who held up and robbed a female while in the Treasure Cay area.

Reports are that on Wednesday 5th June 2019 shortly after 10:00am, an armed culprit while in the Treasure Cay area, held up and robbed a female of her handbag that contain personal items before fleeing the area in a dark colored vehicle.

Officers of the Abaco District, acting on information proceeded to the Farm Road and Sand Bank area where they arrested two male suspects and recovered a dark colored vehicle and the victim’s handbag along with personal items. Later officers arrested a female suspect and recovered a .22 pistol with (3) rounds of ammunition.

Investigation will continue and all three suspects are expected to be arraigned before the Magistrate Court early next week.
