Police arrest 3 in Andros after finding a handgun

Andros, Bahamas - Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Priorities for 2016, Police in Andros arrested two men and a woman in connection with the seizure of a firearm and several rounds of ammunition in on Thursday 1st September 2016.

Reports are that around 3:30am, Police in Andros executed a search warrant at a home in Calabash Bay, where they uncovered a 9-millimeter Pistol with 7 rounds of ammunition. The two men and woman were subsequently arrested and transported to New Providence, where they are expected to appear in court later today to be formally charged.
