170 Illegal Immigrants Arrested in Bimini, Bahamas

Bimini, Bahamas - Law Enforcement Officers in Bimini arrest a total of 170 illegal Immigrants.

Reports are that on Wednesday 15th April 2015 at 11:00pm, officers received information that a 50 ft. blue and white Haitian sloop with engine and sail was moored at the Ferry Dock at Bailey Town, Bimini with Haitian immigrants on board. A team of Law Enforcement Officers consisting of Police, Immigration and Defense Force Officers responded. A total of 113 adult males, 25 adult females and 32 children were taken into custody. They were all turned over to Immigration authorities and await transportation into New Providence, Detention Center.

Investigation continue.
