RBPF Bimini: Possession of Firearms and Ammunition

Bimini, Bahamas - Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Plan for 2017, Police in Bimini took into custody a 27 year old American male after he was found in possession of Firearms and Ammunition.

Reports are that on Friday 28th April 2017, shortly after 9:00pm, police were called to a local resort where they conducted a search of a male and his vessel and discovered a black .380 pistol with (1) magazine containing (6) live rounds of ammunition in a holster and also (1) 9mm pistol with (17) rounds of ammunition and (2) magazines. They were all confiscated in police custody.

He is expected to be arraigned in the Magistrate Court early next week on Firearm and Ammunition related charges.
