Exuma Police make firearm and drug rrest

Exuma, Bahamas - A 47 – year old man was taken is in custody in Exuma after he was found in possession of an illegal firearm and a quantity of dangerous drugs on Sunday 14th December 2014.

According to reports, shortly after 11:00am, Police in Exuma acting on intelligence executed a search warrant at a home located at Rolleville, where they uncovered a handgun and quantity of marijuana. The suspect was taken into custody and will appear in court early this week to be formally charged.

In a separate incident, around 1:30pm, Police in Exuma arrested a 28 – year man after they found him in possession of a quantity of marijuana at George Town Exuma.
