RBPF Grand Bahama: 2 more American females busted for drug possession

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Police in Grand Bahama arrest two more American females after they were found in possession of Dangerous Drugs at the Freeport, Harbor.

Reports are that on Saturday 16th December 2017 shortly after 5:00pm, two American females both ages 39 years of Pompana Beach, Florida presented themselves at the Freeport Harbor security check point in Grand Bahama. When searched they both were discovered with taped packages of suspected cocaine totaling 9lbs.9oz. strap to their bodies with a street value of $75,000. Both females were preparing to board a local fast ferry with services to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

They are expected to be arraigned before the Magistrate Court in Grand Bahama early next week.

Investigations are continuing.
