RBPF: Police in Eleuthera investigates traffic fatality

Police on the island of Eleuthera are investigating a traffic accident which has left an adult male dead Friday, 24th August, 2018.

According to reports, shortly after 6:00am, a male was walking on Queen’s Highway south of the settlement of Rock Sound, when he was struck by a green 1998 S70 Volvo driven by an adult male. The victim was examined on scene by a local Doctor and pronounced dead. The Driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is assisting police with this investigation. 

Officers from the Traffic Department of Royal Bahamas Police Force will travel to Eleuthera to assist with this investigation.
