RBPF: Police seek public’s help in solving armed robbery in Exuma

Exuma, Bahamas - Police are asking members of the public, especially those on the island of Exuma, to come forth with any information they may have in solving an armed robbery, which occurred Tuesday 23rd April, 2018.

According to reports, shortly after 1:00am, a male armed with a firearm entered a business establishment in Farmer’s Hill, Exuma, held an employee at bay and robbed the establishment of cash before running away. During the incident, the gunman dropped a 9mm pistol which contained 6 rounds of ammunition. The firearm was handed over to police on the island.  

Investigations into this matter are ongoing

PREVENTION CRIME TIP: TAKE A STAND AGAINST ILLEGAL FIREARMS BY COOPERATING WITH THE POLICE IN PROVIDING INFORMATION REGARDING THE WHEREABOUTS OF ANY ILLEGAL FIREARM.
