Abaco, Bahamas - Police in Abaco are investigating a stabbing incident that has left a 27 year old male of Coopers Town, Abaco hospitalized.

Reports are that on Friday 18th April 2014 shortly after 10:00pm, police received information that a male while at the Treasure Cay Public Beach was stabbed in the back area by an unidentified male. He was transported to the Coopers Town Clinic in a private vehicle.

His injuries are listed as serious but not life threatening.

Police are investigating.
