Abaco, Bahamas - Police are investigating a stabbing incident that has left a twenty one year old male in hospital and his girlfriend in police custody.
Reports are that on Wednesday 10th September 2014 shortly after 3:00am, a male reported to police in Grand Cay that he was involved in an altercation with his girlfriend while at his residence and as a result his girlfriend reportedly stabbed him with a knife in the abdomen. He was able to walk to the Grand Cay Clinic for medical treatment and will be airlifted to Grand Bahama for further medical attention. His condition is listed as stable.
Police are investigating the matter.
