Drowning deaths reported in Bimini and Grand Bahama

Police in Grand Bahama and Bimini are investigating two separate drowning incidents that occurred on Saturday 27th February 2016.

The first incident occurred shortly after 1:00pm, police received information that a 53 year old American male visitor died, while diving in the area off Turtle Rock, situated off South Bimini.

The second incident occurred shortly after 4:00pm, police received information that a 56 year male of Eight Mile Rock reportedly drown, while diving in the area off Sweetings Key.

Police are actively investigating both matters.
