22 yr old Nassau Village man dead

Nassau, Bahamas - Police investigate a shooting that has left a 22 yr old Nassau Village man dead.

According to reports, sometime around 8:30pm on Sunday 24th August 2014, a 22yr old resident of Price Street, Nassau Village was walking midway heading north on price Street when three males in a black Honda Civic being followed by a male on a trail motorbike approached from the opposite direction. Two of the males in the Honda and the male on the motorbike produced weapons and began discharging shots in the direction of the male striking him to the back as he attempted to run away from his assailants.

EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to PMH where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

POLICE are appealing to anyone with information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands)
