2 dead after 2 traffic accidents in Nassau

MAN DIES FOLLOWING TRAFFIC ACCIDENT

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an adult male following a traffic accident that occurred on Tuesday April 2016.

According to reports, around 5:00am, a man was driving west on Farrington Road when he collided into a guard rail at the Thompson Boulevard roundabout. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.

Investigations are ongoing.

WOMAN DIES IN TRAFFIC ACCIDENT

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a traffic accident that has left an adult woman dead on Wednesday 27th April 2016.

According to reports, shortly before 3:00am, a woman was driving a Honda Accord vehicle accompanied by a male and female passenger on Collins Avenue, when she lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree. The woman was pronounced dead on the scene. The male and female passengers received no injuries.

Investigations are ongoing...

SUSPECT IN NORTH ANDROS STABBING DEATH TO APPEAR IN COURT TODAY

An adult male will appear in court today (Wednesday 27th April 2016) at 11:00am in connection stabbing death of a male that occurred in Morgan’s Bluff, Andros on Sunday 24th April 2016.
