3 Nassau shooting & stabbing incidents, 1 dead

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are seeking the public’s help in solving a shooting and a stabbing that has left a man dead and three men detained in hospital on Saturday 26th December 2014.

In the first incident, shortly before 7:00pm, two men were at Hospital Lane and Weir Street, when they were shot in the leg and thigh. The men were transported to hospital in a private vehicle, where they remain in stable condition.

In the second incident, shortly before 11:00pm a man was walking on Marathon Road, when a man stabbed him to the chest with and unknown object before fleeing on foot. The victim was transported to hospital in a private vehicle, where he remains in stable condition.

In the third incident, shortly after 7:00am, a man was at Spence Street, Masons Addition, when another man shot him about his body multiple times. The victim was transported to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Investigations are ongoing.
