Nassau, Bahamas - Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the alleged drowning death of a 3yr old child at the Montagu Beach.

According to reports, sometime around 6:00pm on Thursday 14th April 2014, police were called to the Montagu Beach, where a local elementary schools was having a picnic and the child was found unresponsive in the water. EMS also responded to the scene, rendered assistance and transported the child to PMH where he later succumbed. An autopsy will be held in order to determine the cause of death.
