7 Colombians arrested at LPIA airport in Nassau, Bahamas

Nassau, Bahamas - Seven (7) Colombians, four (4) males and three (3) females are in police custody after being found in possession of a quantity of suspected liquid cocaine. The group was reportedly arrested shortly after 2:00 pm on Wednesday 6thMarch, 2013 at the Lynden Pindling International Airport, after exiting an inbound commercial flight from Panama City.

At present, an estimated twenty-three (23) ounces of the suspected liquid Cocaine have been confiscated, all of which were confined internally to the suspects. Active police investigations continue.
