8 suspects to be arraigned in Nassau today for serious offences

Nassau, Bahamas  -  Eight (8) suspects are expected to appear in court today (Tuesday 22nd April 2014) at 10:00am to be formally charged for a number of serious offences.

All of the suspects were charge by Detectives from the Central Detective Unit. The suspects are:

1. A 27 – year old man of Union Village for the Attempted Murder of Eric Louis;  2. A 22 – year old man of Rock Crusher Road for Possession of Firearm with Intent to Supply and Ammunition;

3. A 30 – year old man of Resurrection Road for Possession of Firearm with Intent to Supply and Ammunition;

4. A 37 – year old man of Saunders Road for Possession of Firearm with Intent to Supply and Ammunition;

5. A 19 – year old man of Seymour Street for Possession of Firearm with Intent to Supply and Ammunition;

6. A 44 –year old man of Jumbey Street for Possession of Firearm with Intent to supply and Ammunition;

7. A 23 – year old man of Union Village for Possession of Firearm;

8. A 29 – year old man of East Street for Armed Robbery.

Additionally, nine (9) persons were charged and taken to court during the past week by Detectives from the Central Detective Unit for a number of charges to include Unlawful Sexual Intercourse and Murder.
