Nassau, Bahamas - Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Plan for 2016, police took two adult males and a female into custody following the seizure of a quantity dangerous drugs and an illegal firearm and on Sunday 13th November 2016.

Reports are that shortly after 3:00pm, officers from the Selective Enforcement Team along with officers from the Firearm Tracing and Investigation Unit acting on intelligence executed a search warrant at a home located at St. Andrews Close, where they uncovered a 9-milimeter Glock Pistol with 6 rounds of ammunition along with a quantity of marijuana. The three adult residents of the home were subsequently taken into custody and are expected to appear in court early this week to be formally charged.
