Bahamian authorities arrest 5 U.S. citizens for failure to declare

Nassau, Bahamas - Three men and two women from New York are in custody after they were arrested for Failing to Declare on Monday 25th May 2015.

According to reports, shortly after 1:00pm, the three men and two women were returning to the United States, when United States Customs and Border Patrol officials detained them at the United States Pre-Clearance Departure Lounge at LPIA for failing to declare, $50,000.00.

The three men and two women were handed over to the police and are expected to appear in court early this week to be formally charged.
