Bahamas to Host International Drug Conference

The 2017 Pre-IDEC (International Drug Enforcement Conference) 23rd Annual Caribbean Regional Conference will be held in the Bahamas, February 20 – 23, 2017 at the Paul Farquharson Conference Center, Police Headquarters.

Law Enforcement officers from over 20 Caribbean territories including the Bahamas, as well as Peru, Colombia and the United States will be in attendance at the four-day conference.

The opening ceremony will be held at 8:00am on Monday 20th February 2017, at the Paul Farquharson Center, Police Headquarters.

Minister of National Security, Honourable Dr. Bernard J. Nottage will officially open the conference.

Police Commissioner, Ellison Greenslade, U.S. Chargé d’ Affaires, Lisa Johnson and Matthew Donahue, Special Agent in Charge, Drug Enforcement Administration Caribbean Division will also be in attendance.
