Four men caught stealing fuel at BPL

Nassau, Bahamas - An excellent example of “Good Police work” has led to the arrest of four men responsible for stealing a large amount of fuel on Saturday 15th April 2017.

According to reports, shortly after 12:00noon, police received a report of persons stealing fuel from a Bahamas Power and Light (BPL) Pipeline off Frank Watson Highway. This pipeline connects BPL’s Clifton Pier Fuel station to the Blue Hills power plant. . When police arrived on the scene they caught an adult male “red handed” loading fuel from a BPL pipeline into several large containers. The male was taken into custody for stealing.

Police commenced an immediate investigation into this incident that led to the arrest of three more adult males and the recovery of a large amount of fuel.

Investigations are ongoing.
