H.M. CORONER INVESTIGATING DEATH OF A MAN

Nassau, Bahamas - Her Majesty’s Coroner, Mrs. Jeanine Weech-Gomez, is currently investigating the death of an adult male suspect who died in lawful custody at the Central Police Station on Tuesday 15th September 2015. His identification is being withheld pending notification of next of Kin.

All inquiries are to be directed to Mrs. Jeanine Weech-Gomez at Royal Victoria Gardens.

TUESDAY MORNING’S MURDER UNDER ACTIVE INVESTIGATION

Police are appealing to members of the public to come forth with any information they may have regarding a murder that occurred on Tuesday 15th September 2015.

According to reports, shortly after 8:00am, a man was standing in front of his home located at Aaliyah Street off Sequoia Street, Pinewood Gardens when two men armed with firearms opened fire on him before speeding off in a Honda CRV jeep. The man was pronounced dead on the scene.

Investigations are ongoing. 

POLICE ARE APPEALING TO ANYONE WITH INFORMATION REGARDING THIS SHOOTING INCIDENT AND THE WHEREABOUTS OF THE THREE WANTED SUSPECTS, NO MATTER HOW SMALL OR INSIGNIFICANT (THE TIP) MAY SEEM, TO ANONYMOUSLY CALL POLICE AT 919 OR CRIME STOPPERS AT 328-TIPS (8477) (NEW PROVIDENCE) OR 1-242-300-8476(FAMILY ISLANDS)
