House breaking suspect caught - Police arrest murder suspect - Public help requested in identifying murder suspects

HOUSE-BREAKING SUSPECT CAUGHT BY POLICE

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are questioning a 22 year old male of Sandilands Village Road in connection with a recent House-breaking. Initial police reports indicate that shortly before 3:00 pm on Friday 17th February, 2012 police received information of a house-breaking in progress at Halls Close off Gladstone.

Officers of the Southwestern Division responded and while enroute observed the
suspect attempting to flee the area in a dark blue Nissan Altima. Police are actively seeking two (2) additional suspects in connection with this incident. Active police investigations continue.

POLICE ARREST MURDER SUSPECT

Police are questioning a 21 year old male of Bethel Avenue, Stapledon Gardens in
connection with a murder that occurred around 10:30 pm on Wednesday 15th
February, 2012 at Sir Milo Butler Drive. Officers of the Mobile Division arrested the male round 6:00 pm on Friday 17th February, 2012 at Bethel and Turnquest Avenues. Active police investigations continue.

POLICE REQUEST PUBLIC HELP IN LOCATING MURDER
SUSPECTS

Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating two (2) men whom they want to question in connection with a recent shooting incident. The incident reportedly occurred around 8:20 pm on Friday 17th February, 2012. Initial police reports indicate that the deceased on arrival to his residence was approached by a male who exited a silver Honda vehicle. The culprit reportedly robbed the deceased of his cell phone and subsequently shot him. The culprit fled the area in the waiting vehicle accompanied by another male. Police are investigating and are appealing to members of the public who may have any information regarding this or any other incident to contact police @ 919, 322-3333, the CENTRAL DETECTIVE UNIT @ 502-9991, 502-9910 or CRIME STOPPERS @ 328-TIPS.

POLICE INVESTIGATES SHOOTING INCIDENT

Police are investigating a shooting incident that has left a 28 year old male in hospital. The incident reportedly occurred around 4:45 am on Saturday 18th
February, 2012. Preliminary reports indicate that the victim was sitting inside his vehicle, at Market Street, along with two (2) other men when they were approached by a man armed with a handgun. The driver reportedly sped off and the culprit fired gunshots at the vehicle which resulted in the driver receiving gunshot injuries to the face. The victim was taken to hospital via private vehicle where at present his condition is unknown. Police are investigating and are appealing to members of the public who may have any information regarding this incident to contact police.
