Island-wide manhunt underway after 2 shooting incidents and bystander being shot

Nassau, Bahamas - Police have launched an island-wide manhunt for the persons responsible for two shooting incidents that have left a man and a woman detained in hospital on Friday 1st July 2016.

In the first incident, around 10:00pm, a woman was inside her home located on Wilton Street, when someone fired several shots at her home and shot her. The woman was rushed to hospital where she is detained in stable condition.

Then shortly after 10:00pm, several men armed with firearms fired several shots at a white vehicle in the area of Blue Hill Road and Wellington Street that resulted in man standing in the area being shot. The man was rushed to hospital where he is detained in stable condition.

Investigations are ongoing in both incidents.
