Man found dead at New Providence Landfill

POLICE PROBE DEATH OF A MAN FOUND AT NEW PROVIDENCE LANDFILL

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man found dead at the New Providence Landfill on Saturday 12th November 2016.

Reports are that shortly after 1:00pm, Police received a report that a man was found dead near some heavy- duty equipment by workers at the New Providence Landfill. When police arrived on the scene they met the lifeless body of a male in his early 50s with trauma to the body. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Foul play is not suspected. An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
