Man robbed of deposit bag outside business on West Bay St - Couple robbed in home in Coral Harbour

Nassau, Bahamas - In the first incident, shortly after 11:30am, on Monday 10th August 2015, a man was leaving a business establishment located at Sandy Port, West Bay Street, when three men armed with handguns approached and robbed him of a deposit bag containing an undisclosed amount of cash. The men then fled the scene in a white Honda Odyssey vehicle license number 25147.

In the second incident, shortly before 11:00am, on Monday 10th August 2015, a woman and a man was at a home located at Red Foot Drive, Coral Harbour, when a man armed with a handgun forced his way inside and robbed them of a large amount of cash. The gunman then fled the scene in a white Jeep owned by the woman.

Police later recovered the vehicle at a beach in Coral Harbor.  Investigations are ongoing.

Police wish to reassure members of the public, that they are utilizing all resources to ensure that these brazen and heartless criminals who continue to be engaged in criminal activities are arrested and brought to justice. However, the Police cannot do it alone and are urging members of the public who may have relevant information regarding any criminal offence or information regarding anyone who may be in possession of illegal firearms to immediately to come forward and share the information by anonymously calling Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) OR 1-242-300-8476 (FAMILY ISLANDS)
