Man shot in vehicle in Elizabeth Estates, police seeking four male suspects

Nassau, Bahamas - POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECTS IN ELIZABETH ESTATES SHOOTING DEATH

Police is requesting the public’s assistance in locating four men responsible for a shooting death that occurred on Friday 13th November 2015.

Reports are that shortly before 12:00 midnight, a man was sitting in a vehicle at Ghana Circle, Elizabeth Estates, when four men approached and shot him before fleeing on foot. The man was pronounced dead on the scene.

Investigations are ongoing.

11 ARRESTED, 34 DRIVERS CITED BY MOBILE DIVISION OFFICERS DURING 48 HOURS PERIOD

Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Priorities for 2014, Mobile Division saturation patrols intended to reduce crime and to minimize the ability for criminals to commit criminal activities resulted in the arrests of eleven (11) persons during the past 48 hours for various minor and major offences. Additionally 34 driverswere cited for various traffic violations.
