Monday court arraignments incuding murder charges

Nassau, Bahamas  - Consistent with the Policing Plan for 2016, hard work and dedication by officers of the Royal Bahamas Police Force has led to the arraignment of several suspects in court today (Monday 25th April 2016) on a number of serious charges to include murder.

12:00 Noon Arraignments

• A 23 – year old male of Quintine Alley reference to Murder

• A 20 – year old male of Plantol Street reference to Murder & Armed Robbery

• A 30 –year old Royal Bahamas Defense Force Officer of Carmichael Road and a 33 – year old male of Emanuel Way reference to Possession of Firearm & Ammunition and Dangerous Drugs

10:00am Arraignments

• Two males ages 50 & 28 of Derby Road reference to Harbouring a Criminal

• A 20 – year old male of Montel Heights reference to Possession of a Firearm w/ Intent to Endanger Life, Possession of firearm with intent to put another in fear, Possession of an unlicensed firearm and Possession of ammunition

• An 18 – year old male of St. Jude Way reference to Possession of a Firearm with Intent to Endanger Life, Possession of firearm with Intent to put another in fear and Possession of an unlicensed firearm and Possession of ammunition.

• A 25 – year old male and three females ages 25, 23 & 19 of Market Street reference to Possession of Ammunition and dangerous drugs

• A 37-year old male of Seven Hills Estates reference to Fraud

• A 19 – year old male of Jumbey Drive reference to Armed Robbery and Possession of a Firearm while committing an indictable offence

• A 22 – year old male of Malcolm Road reference to Armed Robbery and Possession of a firearm while committing an indictable offence

POLICE ARE URGING ANYONE WITH ANY INFORMATION REGARDING ANY CRIME, NO MATTER HOW SMALL OR INSIGNIFICANT (THE TIP) MAY SEEM, IS URGED TO ANONYMOUSLY CONTACT THE POLICE AT 919 OR CRIME STOPPERS AT 328-TIPS (8477) (NEW PROVIDENCE) OR 1-242-300-8477 (FAMILY ISLANDS)
