Murder and Armed Robbery Arraignments in Grand Bahama

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Lawrence Bethel Jr. age 23 years of Martin Hill, Eight Mile Rock was arraigned on Wednesday 3rd August 2016 before Magistrate Debbye Ferguson in Magistrate Court #1 in Freeport, Grand Bahama on Murder charge. He was not required to enter a plea, the matter was adjourned to the 10th October 2016 for a Preliminary Enquiry. He was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services.
This is in connection to an incident reported to the police on the 28th May 2016.
Derek Leroy Clarke age 37 years of Clarke Avenue was arraigned on Wednesday 3rd August 2016 before Magistrate Debbye Ferguson in Magistrate Court #1 on (3) counts of Armed Robbery charges. He was not required to enter a plea, the matter was adjourned to the 10th October 2016 for a Preliminary Enquiry. He was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services.
Police are also urging anyone who may have any information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477)
